1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using Aevo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Vladimir Ciumacenco ("Developer").
2. Description of service
Aevo is an iOS application that reads Apple HealthKit data to calculate a real-time energy score, provides personalized recommendations, offers an AI Coach (GPT-4o), and scans meals via camera for nutritional estimates.
3. Not medical advice
Aevo is a wellness application, not a medical device. Nothing in the App constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Energy scores and AI Coach responses are for informational purposes only. Consult a licensed healthcare professional before making health decisions.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Aevo. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental consent.
5. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription managed through Apple's App Store:
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal
- Manage and cancel via your Apple ID account settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy
- Prices may change with reasonable notice
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer the App, use it for unlawful purposes, attempt unauthorized access to backend services, share account credentials, or use the App in ways that harm others.
7. HealthKit data
Aevo uses HealthKit data solely for health and fitness functionality. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or purposes unrelated to the App's core function.
8. AI-generated content
AI Coach responses are generated by OpenAI GPT-4o and may not always be accurate. They do not constitute professional advice. You are responsible for decisions made based on AI responses.
9. Intellectual property
Aevo and all associated content and trademarks are owned by Vladimir Ciumacenco. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of health data readings or energy scores. These are algorithmic estimates, not medical measurements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including health decisions made based on App recommendations.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the App at our discretion for violations of these Terms or conduct harmful to users or third parties.
13. Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes shall be resolved in Romanian courts.
